Roof Types
ROUND EAVE
A standard roof with rounded eaves is the most cost-effective design. This is because it eliminates the need for a hat channel, ridge cap, eave-side trim, and the welded transition from the vertical roof truss to the leg.
VERTICAL ROOF
The vertical roof, characterized by its boxed eaves, gets its name because its panels run vertically instead of horizontally. This design is ideal for longevity, as it effectively reduces snow and rain buildup, allowing for easy drainage. It requires minimal maintenance and is generally preferred over other roof styles.
BOXED EAVE - HORIZONTAL
The "A" framed roof, also known as the "Boxed Eave" roof, is similar to a regular roof but features square eaves instead of rounded ones. It is the second most economical design because it lacks the hat channel and ridge cap needed for the vertical roof’s support of vertical panels. The truss beneath the eave is covered with boxed eave trim, giving it a neat and finished look.
